Abigail Makolo

UX designer
I design and manage digital products in Abuja, Nigeria. I work as a UX designer at eHealth4everyone where I save lives by helping to ensure that health IT solutions are visually appealing and of high quality, yet easy and pleasant to use. I also design websites and things in my spare time. I was a Google Code-In 2019 mentor for Systers, an international Anita B.org community encouraging the participation of all women involved in technology and open-source. I am also a member of Open Source Community Africa (OSCA), a community of creative minds driving the open-source movement in Africa.I love tech and know a little bit about a lot in technology. You can find me reading articles on Medium or trying to help or solve problems or munching (I love cake and ice-cream). I want to explore as many opportunities in tech as I can. However, being in an on-going struggle against perfectionism and "impostor syndrome", I am striving to break free and put myself out there, encouraging and motivating anyone facing similar or other challenges in their lives and careers.
